Thinking and acting at b-plastic is forcefully influenced by aspects such as quality improvement, environmental protection, occupational safety and energy efficiency. Based on these aspects, the objectives and standards of a comprehensive management system for sustainable business are be set.
The internal quality, environmental, occupational safety and energy management guarantees a continuous and integrated process improvement (CPI) along the whole process chain of our business operations.
A good example of a simultaneous combination of quality improvement and resource conservation is the full use of plastic raw materials for our standard range. So rejects at manufacturing is generally homogeneously separated, recycled, and recirculated to the production process to almost 100 percent; with 100 percent same high quality of products.
Another example of resource-conserving and energy-efficient action is the long-term energy monitoring of our operating processes and equipment, such as machinery and operational infrastructure. In this way, our production processes are also successively coordinated and optimized from an energy perspective and the energy consumption of our operating equipment is continuously reduced as part of new investments.
With this in mind, we have joined the "VEA Initiative – Klimafreundlicher Mittelstand", an initiative of our partner "VEA - Bundesverband der Energie-Abnehmer e.V.", with which we have been associated since 1987.
